TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - April 13, 2009) - BFI Canada Ltd. (the "Corporation")(TSX:BFC) will hold a conference call to discuss results for the three months ended March 31, 2009, on Friday, May 1, 2009 at 8:30 a.m. (ET). The Corporation will issue its results by press release prior to its Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on Thursday, April 30, 2009.

Discussing the results for the three months ended March 31, 2009 will be Keith Carrigan, Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, and Tom Cowee, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
