IGM Financial Inc.: IGM Financial Inc. Announces April 2009 Mutual Fund Sales and Total Assets Under Management

WINNIPEG, MANITOBA--(Marketwire - May 1, 2009) - IGM Financial Inc. (IGM) (TSX:IGM) today reported preliminary total mutual fund net new money in April of ($241.7) million as shown in Table 1. Total assets under management were $103.6 billion at April 30, 2009, compared to $122.3 billion at April 30, 2008 and $101.7 at December 31, 2008. Mutual fund assets under management were $86.1 billion as at April 30, 2009, compared to $107.8 billion at April 30, 2008 and $85.0 billion at December 31, 2008. Assets under management are shown in Table 2.
