NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - May 14, 2009) - Facebook fanatics have a new, fun way to learn about all they can do to "go green." Looking to expand the ways of reaching its customers, Con Edison has a new Power of Green page on Facebook.

Fans can learn about energy-saving tips, exciting "green" events that Con Edison is sponsoring, and -- everyone's idea of green power -- how to save money on their bill. Fans can see a video of Con Edison's new electric car, sign up for a free programmable thermostat, and learn how to get their homes ready for summer. The site also links to the company's official Power of Green page.
