Hanfeng Evergreen Inc.: Hanfeng Receives Approval to Change Fiscal Year-End
TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 9, 2009) - Hanfeng Evergreen Inc. (Hanfeng) (TSX:HF), announced that it has received approval from the Canada Revenue Agency to change its fiscal year-end from December 31 to June 30, effective from June 30, 2009. With the change occurring this year, the Company will be required to file audited financial statements and MD&A for the transitional six-month period ending June 30, 2009. The primary reasons for the change of year-end are that the Chinese New Year falls in the middle of the current audit process, and the focus of the Company during late January and early February is on building inventory before the spring delivery season.
