Hanfeng Evergreen Inc.: Hanfeng Evergreen Appoints Tony Busseri Executive Vice President
TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Jan. 12, 2009) - Hanfeng Evergreen Inc. (Hanfeng) (TSX:HF), a leading provider of slow and controlled release fertilizers in China, today announced the appointment of Tony Busseri as Executive Vice President.
Mr. Busseri joins Hanfeng with more than 12 years of executive management experience. He has served most recently as a principal of Growth Equity Partners, an advisory services firm and private equity fund. His focus was supporting companies in the sourcing of growth capital, the execution of mergers and acquisitions, and in capital markets management, including strategy and content development, and stakeholder communications.
Previously, Mr. Busseri served as a member of the Board of Directors, President and Chief Executive Officer of EnGlobe Corp. (TSX:EG) a leading integrated environmental services company specializing in the management of organic-based waste streams and contaminated soils, and as Chairman of the Board of Directors, President and Chief Executive Officer of Capital Environmental Resource Inc. (NASDAQ:WSII) a waste management services company. Mr. Busseri is a graduate of the honours business administration program at the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario and holds a Certified Management Accountant designation.
