Diadem Resources Ltd.: Diadem Announces Management Changes
TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 12, 2009) - Diadem Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:DRL) announced today that Aime Bertrand has been appointed Chairman and CEO of Diadem. Paul Carroll has resigned from that position but remains as a Director. The remaining Directors continue to be William McKnight, Thomas Skimming and Lee Barker.
The Company is developing a plan to reinforce the business of the Company within the mining industry. While the plan is to continue exploration of the Franklin Diamond Project the Company will consider other opportunities as they become available in the current depressed market for junior resource companies. The Chairman has also been requested to canvass potential candidates for Board membership to reinforce the current management.
In 2008 Diadem completed a ground magnetic survey on its Franklin Diamond Project. The location of the Project and the Company's claims are shown on previously published maps which may be viewed on the Diadem website at [ www.diademresources.com ]. The survey defined a number of airborne magnetic anomalies which are part of the 28 exploration targets referred to in earlier news releases and other disclosure by Diadem. Several of the anomalies are believed to be similar to known diamond-bearing kimberlite pipes previously discovered on the Project. Diadem plans to finalize its drilling program for the Project which it expects will be carried out later this year, subject to permitting and financing.
