VVC Exploration Corporation: VVC Exploration Signs Option to Acquire the Santa Valeria Property, a Silver Prospect in Chihuahua

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 11, 2009) - VVC EXPLORATION CORPORATION (TSX VENTURE:VVC)(FRANKFURT:V7S)(BERLIN:V7S) ("VVC" or the "Company") is pleased to report having signed an Option Agreement to acquire 100% of the Santa Valeria property (the "Property") in the State of Chihuahua from Invesmin San Miguel S de RL de CV (the "Optionor"), a Mexican mining company. The Property covers 714 hectares in the Sierra Madre, and has been the object of sampling and geological mapping.

THE TRANSACTION

Pursuant to the Option Agreement, the Company can acquire a 100% interest in the Property and has the exclusive rights to explore and develop the Property over the next five years in consideration for 400,000 common shares of the Company, and total cash payments of MXN$ 7,700,000 Mexican pesos (currently equivalent to CA$ 654,000) payable to the Optionor as follows:

a) 550,000 pesos already paid;

b) 825,000 pesos on July 1, 2009

c) 825,000 pesos on January 1, 2010

d) 1,100,000 pesos on September 1, 2010

e) 1,375,000 pesos on September 1, 2011

f) 1,375,000 pesos on September 1, 2012

g) 1,650,000 pesos on September 1, 2013

The Property is subject to a 1% NSR in favour of Corporativo Minero S.A. de C.V. and 1% NSR in favour of the Optionor.

DESCRIPTON OF SANTA VALERIA PROPERTY

The Property is located in the northern part of Mexico approximately 150 km south of Chihuahua, the state capital. Argentiferrous mineralization is related to a prominent east-west structure with a confirmed strike length of 3 km. Similar type mineralization occurs within a secondary North-west trending structure that can be observed on the Property. The Company anticipates soon starting a mapping and sampling program to be followed by a drilling program on the Property.
