MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - May 12, 2010) - Amseco Exploration Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:AEL) ("Amseco") announces that it has recently completed land staking for an additional fifty-three (53) 16 hectare claims for a total area of 848 hectares. These claims cover the north shore of Lake Barry as well as part of the lake itself. The claims are contiguous to Abitex Resources Inc.'s (« ABE »-TSX-V) Barry property. In the Barry-Urban mining camp Amseco now controls or has an option to acquire an interest in more than 16,458 hectares or 165.48 square kilometres.

Amseco also announces the grant of the following share purchase options:

Jean Desmarais, President and Director 450,000

Reynald Couillard, Chairman of the Board of Directors 200,000

Roger Bourgault, Director 100,000

Nicolas Patry, Director 50,000

The options give the holder the right to buy shares of Amseco at a price of $0.12 per share for a period of five (5) years from the grant date. The options are under a four (4) month resale restriction and gradually vest in the holders name over an eighteen (18) month period following their grant date. The exercise price was established using the company's share closing price of May 11, 2010, which was at $0.11.
