


Senior Housing Properties Trust Announces Annual Meeting Results
NEWTON, Mass.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Senior Housing Properties Trust (NYSE: SNH) today announced the results of its annual meeting as follows.
John L. Harrington was re-elected as an Independent Trustee, receiving 95.2% of all shares voted. Mr. Harrington was re-elected for a three (3) year term until the 2013 annual meeting.
Adam D. Portnoy was re-elected as a Managing Trustee, receiving 86.1% of all shares voted. Mr. Portnoy was re-elected for a three (3) year term until the 2013 annual meeting.
In addition, shareholders approved, with 99.5% of all shares voted, the ratification of appointment of Ernst & Young LLP as SNHa™s independent registered public accounting firm.
