NEW YORK--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Morgan Stanley Investment Management announced today portfolio management changes for Morgan Stanley Asia-Pacific Fund, Inc. (NYSE: APF). The Fund is managed by the Emerging Markets Equity and Japanese Equity teams. The teams consist of portfolio managers and analysts. Current members of the teams jointly and primarily responsible for the day-to-day management of the Funda™s portfolio are John R. Alkire, James Cheng and Arthur Pollock. Mr. Alkire, a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley Asset & Investment Trust Co. Limited (aMSAITCLa), a sub-adviser to the Fund, has been associated with MSAITCL in an investment management capacity since 1981 and joined the team managing the Fund at its inception in August 1994. Mr. Cheng, a Managing Director of Morgan Stanley Investment Management Company (aMSIM Companya), a sub-adviser to the Fund, has been associated with MSIM Company in an investment management capacity since July 2006 and joined the team managing the Fund in July 2006. Prior to July 2006, Mr. Cheng worked in an investment management capacity at Invesco Asia Limited, Asia Strategic Investment Management Limited and Munich Re Asia Capital Management. Mr. Pollock, an Executive Director of Morgan Stanley Investment Management Limited (aMSIM Limiteda), a sub-adviser to the Fund, has been associated with MSIM Limited in an investment management capacity since 1999 and joined the team managing the Fund in May 2010.
