    • Indonesia will adjust its crude palm oil export tax to reduce the burden on exporters from U.S. tariffs, Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati said on Tuesday.

Indonesia plans to adjust its crude palm oil (CPO) export tax to align with the domestic market obligation (DMO) policy, as announced by Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati. The adjustment aims to ensure that the export tax and levy on CPO are in line with the DMO, which requires exporters to sell a portion of their palm oil domestically before exporting. This move is intended to stabilize domestic cooking oil prices and ensure supply. The minister emphasized that the government will continue to monitor and adjust policies as needed to balance the interests of producers, consumers, and the economy.
