Report in Ghana, providing a comprehensive assessment of the country's business environment and identifying key areas for reform.
The World Bank Group has launched the Business Ready (B-READY) Report in Ghana, which assesses the business environment across 106 countries, including Ghana, to provide insights into regulatory frameworks and business practices. This initiative replaces the former Doing Business Report, aiming to offer a more comprehensive analysis of what makes a location attractive for business. The B-READY project evaluates aspects such as business entry, utility services, labor regulations, and dispute resolution, among others. During the launch event in Accra, key stakeholders including government officials, private sector representatives, and development partners gathered to discuss the implications of the report for Ghana's economic landscape. The report's findings are intended to guide policy reforms to enhance the ease of doing business, promote investment, and foster economic growth in Ghana.
