Typhoon Exploration Inc.: Typhoon Initiates the 2009 Drilling Campaign on the Fayolle Property

ROUYN-NORANDA, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - March 25, 2009) - Typhoon Exploration Inc. (TSX VENTURE:TYP) ("Typhoon") announces the beginning of the 2009 drilling campaign on the Fayolle property owned 100% by Typhoon.

Following the results of FA-08-13 drill holes, which intersected 10.84 g/t gold on 19.8 meters (see June 3, 2008 Press Release), Typhoon begins a drilling campaign at more than 150 meters (492 feet), west of the Fayolle Deposit, in order to confirm the gold-bearing mineralization and verify the lateral and in-depth extensions.

Furthermore, drillings completed in 1987 (AIG-87-34) revealed an average intersection of 3.72 g/t gold on 2.02 meters nearby in the same stratigraphical level at more than 125 meters below surface.
