CHICAGO, ILLINOIS--(Marketwire - Feb. 19, 2009) - Freshwater Technologies Inc. (OTCBB:FWTC) is pleased to announce the launch of a manufacturing program for increased productivity for Latin American Companies based on ELCE water activation technology established in Japan. ELCE International Inc., holder of world wide distribution and manufacturing rights, has developed water activation applications designed specifically to improve manufacturing productivity and cost efficiencies where water use is a substantial element in the manufacturing process.

Given the current world wide economic crisis, manufacturers are being forced to become even more productive in terms of output in order to survive and grow. To this end, Freshwater and its Joint Venture partner, ELCE International are meeting with South and Central American manufacturers to implement ELCE water activation installations that can increase manufacturing productivity in terms of greater output and reduction of manufacturing costs.

ELCE Water Activation Technology is based on changes in the physical properties of activated water as water flows through the ELCE activator causing vigorous movement of the hardened ceramic ball encased in a stainless steel cylinder. As a result of the micro energies generated, water molecules are reduced in size, surface tension of the water is reduced while existing chemical properties are retained in the source water. It is precisely these unique physical properties released through activating source water that can be utilized in manufacturing processes to improve production output and manufacturing efficiencies.

For example, in one manufacturing situation, an S-12 ELCE water activation unit installed for a two or 3 months test basis will provide evidence of increased production efficiencies. Based on positive test results, the manufacturing company will agree to rent the ELCE for a two year period with automatic one year renewals for an additional eight years, the duration of the manufacturer's product guarantee on all ELCE Units. The monthly rental fee for an ELCE S-12 is $9800 or $117,600 annually. Freshwater will pay ELCE International 50 percent of net profits after deducting the cost of products, delivery and directly related sales and administrative costs.

Freshwater, by working directly with ELCE International in Central and South America is gaining access to ELCE International's experience, know-how and technology to help manufacturers cut costs and increase revenues during these increasingly difficult international business conditions.
