Ltd., made the following statement: "Today, February 17th has marked the day in history for the village of Jalimudi in eastern India and for the global water supply industry. Today, we inaugurated the first rural drinking water supply system creating and supplying water from air. The people of the village were so grateful for the machine to have been installed in their village that they pushed to just touch us and hug us, and cried emotionally claiming that their lives had been so dramatically changed. We had villagers showing their extreme thanks and appreciation and stated that they believed that this new water from air phenomena was a god sent gift from heaven.
"The inauguration ceremony lasted over 3 hours and was attended by several government dignitaries, including 2 parliament members as well as the chief engineer of the state of Andhra Pradesh. The event was also attended by some 13 televisions stations and a similar number of press reporters representing a broad spectrum of the news media of India, many of whom flew in for the day from other cities and areas around India. All in all, a resounding success for our companies resulting in tremendous interests by the government of India who has further pledged their support in future additional such schemes. We are very excited to continue to work with Air Water Corporation and all the people involved in this amazing new international project. Jalimudi is a small village (circa 600 inhabitants) lying in the State of Andhra Pradesh in South East India. Air Water Corporation in conjunction with their Indian licensee, WaterMaker (India) Pvt. Ltd., are the first in the world to provide clean clear and pure water supplies to the villagers, with the water being extracted from the air. The company has set up an Air Water Station and the villagers are invited to come and collect ample supplies of water on a daily basis.
