KANSAS CITY, Mo.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Great Plains Energy Incorporated (NYSE:GXP) announced today that it will release its 2008 fourth quarter / year-end earnings on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 after the market close. On Thursday, February 12, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. EST, the Company's executive officers will conduct a webcast and conference call to discuss the Company's results for 2008 fourth quarter and full year earnings and operating results.
