Our jatropha oil product is the viable alternative answer to our longtime battle against the use of hazardous gasoline additives and/or oxygenates.

Jatropha is said to have originated in South America. The Jatropha Oil Biodiesel as an alternative energy biofuel has expanded its usage, as it has been tested in the aviation industry among others. The product was just recently used by Air New Zealand in a successful test flight of a 50/50 mix of Jatropha and Jet fuel oil last December 30, 2008. Earlier this month, the Houston-based Continental Airlines also had tested the use of Jatropha oil to power their new jet.

In ancient times, Jathropa's seeds and leaves were used for medicinal purposes. It is a known antiseptic but can be anti-nutritional if ingested in large quantities. Jatropha is used by farmers as oil for lamps and machines in the rural areas of third world and developing countries and is called a "poor man's oil" by some experts. Last year's joint venture agreement with South Texas Farms was cancelled 4 days after the MOA was signed by its President Clinton Cheek due to Mr. Clinton's health issue. The company opted to proceed in the acquisition of the farmlands and operate these farmlands in the same principle GreenGold had in the Philippines, by providing livelihood by hiring local skilled technicians and unskilled farmers and growers.
