As general counsel for Constellation Energy, Berardesco has primary responsibility for the companya™s legal strategies and policies, including corporate governance, legal compliance and ethics, corporate finance activities, mergers and acquisitions, and litigation.
Berardesco also serves as the chairman of Constellation Energya™s Diversity Council, a cross functional team of leaders from across the enterprise that work on incorporating diversity and inclusion into the workplace. Prior to joining Constellation Energy, Berardesco had practiced law for nearly 20 years, both in-house and with law firms. He is also active in a number of charitable organizations, including having served as chairman of the board of the Woodbourne Center, president of the Presbyterian Home of Maryland, chair of the Church Council of Foundry United Methodist Church and a member of the board of directors of the Baltimore Choral Arts Society. He is also a member of the Business Council of the Human Rights Campaign, the largest civil rights organization working to achieve equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Americans.
