SurModics, Inc. (Nasdaq: [ SRDX ]) reported second-quarter earnings of 10 cents per share on Apr 28, which was 37% short of the average forecast. Revenues fell to $18.4 million from last yeara™s $20.9 million. The Zacks Consensus Estimate for 2010 declined 16 cents to 50 cents per share over the past month as all of the 6 covering analysts revised downward. Next yeara™s estimate slid 30 cents to 69 cents per share during that time.
