MANHATTAN BEACH, CA--(Marketwire - April 15, 2009) - Beach Business Bank (OTCBB: [ BBBC ]) (the "Bank") is pleased to announce the appointment of Maggie Hender as Vice President and Relationship Manager in the Corporate Banking Group.

Maggie has concentrated on the needs of middle market business clients in Long Beach and Orange County for the past twenty years, developing and managing relationships with corporate clients, including equipment manufacturers, distributors, law firms, and medical professionals. She joins the Corporate Banking Group in our Long Beach office after spending the past nine years at First Bank in Long Beach. Maggie will report to Tom LaCroix, Beach Business Bank Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer. Maggie has previously worked closely with Tom, and also with Fred Jensen, a distinguished Long Beach Banker and currently a Director of the Bank as well as Chairman of its Audit Committee.
