MANCHESTER, NH--(Marketwire - May 26, 2009) - QED Connect Inc., (PINKSHEETS: [ QEDN ]), an innovative software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider for the information security market, today announced that the company will introduce a SaaS-based Software License Manager (SLM) product. The application will enable centralized management of software licensing whether users are on or off network and is aimed at increasing revenue through channel partners: Manage Service Providers (MSP), Internet Service Providers (ISP) and Telco.

Recent market surveys estimate that American companies will spend nearly $160 billion on software purchases in 2009 and another $100 billion on software maintenance. Dell Modular Services estimate that those companies on average overspend on software licenses and maintenance by 30%. IT executives struggle to manage software and face multiple challenges, including poor visibility into remote assets, the inability to ensure the security of PCs, and the failure to deliver support on a consistent and cost-effective basis. Very few small to medium businesses have the cross-functional expertise and knowledge base for controlling software licensing.

QED's application will offer an integrated package from purchase to obsolescence. First delivery is scheduled for late 3rd quarter 2009.
