Shoreham Resources Ltd.: Shoreham Appoints Mr. James Norris to the Board of Directors and Appoints New Auditors

LANGLEY, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Feb. 11, 2009) - Shoreham Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:SMH), a Canadian exploration company dedicated to the exploration of advanced precious metal and polymetallic deposits in South America and Canada, is pleased to announce that Mr. James Norris has accepted the appointment to the Company's Board of Directors effective immediately. The Company also wishes to announce that the Board of Directors has elected to engage a Vancouver based auditor in lieu of the existing Toronto based firm. The Board has appointed De Visser Gray, LLP, Chartered Accountants of Vancouver, B.C. as Auditors for Shoreham Resources Ltd.

Mr. James Norris was Chairman, Director and CFO of Sheffield Resources Ltd. (a publicly traded company until July 29, 2008) and was involved with Sheffield from 1998. He has held various positions with Allright Ladder Co. (a private company) since 1993 and became President in 1997, a position he still holds. Mr. Norris's background in junior exploration and financial management makes him well suited to chair the Audit Committee. With the addition of Mr. Norris, the Company now has a six (6) member Board of Directors, four (4) of which are independent of management.

David Bending, M.Sc., P. Geo., President and CEO of Shoreham Resources Ltd., states that; "The Company is very pleased to have Mr. Norris join Shoreham's Board of Directors. With the addition of Mr. Norris to the Board, the Company has achieved some of its Corporate Governance goals. Mr. Norris will replace Mr. Dave Jenkins as Chairman of the Audit Committee. Mr. Jenkins will remain as a member of the Audit Committee. The Audit committee will now consist of 3 independent directors along with the President and CEO Mr. David Bending. Mr. Norris will also be a member of the Company's Corporate Governance and Compensation Committees which latter committee consists exclusively of independent directors. The change of auditor is in keeping with the relocation of the Company's head office to the Vancouver area. De Visser Gray is well known and experienced in the Junior Resources Industry."
