

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - May 17, 2010) - Far City Mining Limited ("Far City" or the "Company") (CNSX:FCH) wishes to announce that the Board of Directors has passed a resolution to set up a share option plan for which a maximum of 13,755,000 ordinary shares are available for issuance under the plan. The Board also approved the grant of 9,600,000 incentive stock options to certain directors, officers and consultants of the Company. The options are exercisable at CDN$0.23 per ordinary share and will expire on May 17, 2020.
Far City Mining Limited (CNSX:FCH) is a junior mineral exploration company engaged in exploring for silver and multi metals in Sichuan Province of Peoples Republic of China. The Company's principal property consists of a 9.81 square kilometer exploration permit, commonly known as the "Jiaogenma Property". The Company owns a 100% beneficial interest in the property with no royalty or other payments other than Government fees and levies.
