The new German government does not expect the European Union's debt rules to put the brakes on the country's planned spending spree, German Finance Minister Lars Klingbeil said on Monday.
German Finance Minister Christian Lindner expressed optimism about Germany's economic growth, stating that an increase in Germany's growth rate would be beneficial for the entire European economy.
