LSU selects new dean for business school. See who it is.

  • New dean set to take over on July 28, will replace Jared Llorens.

LSU has appointed Professor Robert E. "Bob" Tucker as the new dean of the E.J. Ourso College of Business, effective from August 1, 2023. Tucker, who has been serving as the interim dean since July 2022, previously held the position of associate dean for undergraduate education and administration at the same college. His academic journey at LSU began in 1994 as an assistant professor, and he has since progressed through various roles, including department chair and director of the Flores MBA Program. Tucker holds a Ph.D. in economics from Texas A&M University and has been recognized for his contributions to education, receiving the LSU Distinguished Faculty Award in 2014. His appointment follows a national search and was approved by LSU President William F. Tate IV and the LSU Board of Supervisors.
