Dr. Sharif Khalid appointed Presidential Adviser at the Office of the Vice-President

The newly appointed Economic Policy Adviser to the Office of the Vice-President, Dr. Sharif Mahmud Khalid, has expressed his gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama and Prof. Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, for the opportunity to serve in the administration.
Dr. Sharif Mahmud Khalid, a prominent Ghanaian economist and former Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC), has been appointed as a Presidential Adviser at the Office of the Vice President. This appointment was announced by the Chief of Staff, Akosua Frema Osei-Opare, on behalf of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. Dr. Khalid, who also served as a Senior Advisor at the Ministry of Energy, brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles, including his tenure as a Senior Economist at the World Bank. His new role is expected to leverage his extensive background in economics and energy to advise on national development strategies.
