  • From the curve and shape of the Flinders Ranges to the stark beauty of Kangaroo Island, iconic South Australian aesthetics dominate the new Qantas business class lounge at Adelaide Airport.

The new Qantas Business Class Lounge at Adelaide Airport, opened on December 8, draws inspiration from South Australia's iconic aesthetics, featuring elements like the state's renowned wine regions and the rugged beauty of the Flinders Ranges. Designed by Woods Bagot, the lounge spans 1400 square meters and can accommodate up to 360 passengers, offering a luxurious space with a color palette reflecting the local landscape, including earthy tones and vibrant pops of color. Key features include a bar serving local wines, a dining area with dishes inspired by South Australian cuisine, and a unique art installation by artist Emma Hack, which uses 10,000 pieces of fabric to create a mural celebrating the region's diverse landscapes. The lounge also provides amenities such as showers, workspaces, and a quiet area, enhancing the travel experience for Qantas business class passengers.
