A recent global study by the Public First think tank, as reported by MSN, reveals that a significant portion of young adults aged 18-34 support the use of extreme measures to drive social and political change. The study, which surveyed over 10,000 people across the UK, US, France, Germany, and Sweden, found that 37% of this demographic believe that violence can be justified to achieve political goals, and 45% think that spreading disinformation is acceptable if it supports their cause. This trend is particularly pronounced among those who identify as "very left-wing" or "very right-wing," with 58% of these individuals endorsing violence. The findings suggest a growing acceptance among young people of tactics traditionally associated with radical activism, highlighting a potential shift in how future generations might approach political engagement and activism.
