Longview extends city manager deliberations into next week

The City of Longview, Washington, is actively searching for a new city manager following the resignation of former City Manager Mary Jane Melink. The city has engaged Prothman, a recruitment firm, to assist in the process, which has already seen over 30 applications. The search is being overseen by a committee that includes Mayor Spencer Boudreau, Councilors Mike Wallin and Ruth Kendall, and HR Director Kevin Ricks.
