Fortegra Financial Corporation Appoints Bob Abramson to Executive Vice President of Fortegra and President of Bliss & Glennon

JACKSONVILLE, Fla.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Fortegra Financial Corporation (the "Company") (NYSE: FRF) an industry leader in the strategic marketing, manufacturing and administration of financial products and solutions, announced today that Bob Abramson has accepted the position of Executive Vice President of Fortegra Financial and President of Bliss & Glennon. Bliss & Glennon is Fortegra's wholesale surplus lines broker business. This change was effective August 15, 2011. Mr. Abramson replaces the former President of Bliss & Glennon, Dan Reppert. Mr. Reppert recently left the organization to return to actuarial consulting. Mr. Abramson will report directly to Richard S. Kahlbaugh, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Fortegra Financial, and participate on the Companya™s senior leadership team.

Since Mr. Abramson first joined Bliss & Glennon in 1977, he has been instrumental in driving exponential premium growth and building it into a leading national managing general agent and surplus lines broker. While at Bliss & Glennon, Mr. Abramson has served on the executive leadership team in various roles, including the National E & S Director, Co-owner and President. He earned a B.S. in Finance from San Diego State University.
