Parlay Entertainment Inc.: Parlay: Eleven Languages and Counting!
LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - June 3, 2009) - Parlay Entertainment Inc. (TSX VENTURE:PEI), the world's leading supplier of Internet and TV bingo software solutions, and NetPlay TV, the interactive media gaming company, today announced the launch of NetPlay TV's EuroBingo gaming site on the Parlay5 platform. EuroBingo is currently available in five languages, bringing the total number of supported languages in Parlay5 to eleven. With this launch, Parlay has once again proven itself the industry leader, helping its bingo clients open up new markets across Europe more easily.
"Bingo games have been available in different languages and currencies for a few years now. However, traditionally they have been standalone sites which struggled to build sufficient liquidity because of the inability of the software to combine the liquidity across currencies and languages," said Gavin Whyte, Chief Operating Officer of NetPlay TV plc. "We chose to migrate our EuroBingo sites to the Parlay5 platform because it allows us to combine fully-localised regional offerings into an essentially pan-European game."
"With the Parlay5 platform, not only can clients run sites in any preferred language and currency, their sites can live on the same gaming system," said Perry Malone, CTO of Parlay. "With Parlay5, we can turn around any new language requirements within a matter of days rather than months. This gives operators the ability to enter new markets and respond to changing market demands."
Parlay's internationalisation features are part of its commitment to delivering the most open and flexible gaming platform in the industry.
