TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - May 29, 2009) - Adex Mining Inc. ("Adex" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:ADE) is pleased to announce that Errol Farr's previous appointment, effective May 1, 2009, as interim President and Chief Executive Officer of Adex has been made permanent effective May 29, 2009. The Company's board of directors will continue its search for a senior executive with experience in mine development and mineral production. The position with Adex to be occupied by such person will be determined by his or her qualifications and experience.

Adex is also pleased to announce that Alan Marshall has been appointed to the position of Chairman of the Board effective May 29, 2009. Mr. Marshall was previously Lead Director of Adex.

Adex is also pleased to announce the appointment of William C. Burton as the Chief Financial Officer of the Company effective May 29, 2009. Mr. Burton, a Chartered Accountant, was previously the Controller of the Company and replaces Errol Farr in the role of CFO.
