OCEAN CITY, NJ--(Marketwire - June 1, 2009) - Ocean City Home Bank (NASDAQ: [ OSHC ]) will break ground on its tenth branch on Tuesday, June 9, 2009, at 5:00 p.m. The Groundbreaking Ceremony will be held on the site of the new branch, at 317 South Pitney Road in Galloway, New Jersey.

"When we considered possible sites for our next branch location, Galloway Township was a natural choice, because the area has seen such steady growth in both residential and commercial development," explained Steven E. Brady, President and Chief Executive Officer of Ocean City Home Bank. "We pride ourselves on offering outstanding service, and one aspect of service is convenience. We realize that even in this age of automated service and online banking, sometimes customers still need, or simply prefer, to do their banking in person, and we're happy to offer the residents and businesses of Galloway a convenient and central location to do their face-to-face banking."

Construction on the Galloway branch will begin immediately and is expected to be complete in fall of 2009. The 3,000-square-foot branch was designed by Fenwick Architects, and construction of the project will be managed by Icon Construction.

Ocean City Home Bank opened its flagship location in Ocean City in 1887, and since that time, the bank has opened branch locations in Marmora, Linwood, Ventnor, Egg Harbor Township, Absecon, Northfield, Margate, and Mays Landing.
