  • According to MoDOT, 7,300 vehicles pass through the half-mile stretch of road every day. That's comparable to roadways like the Kansas Expressway and West Bypass.

The Greene County Commission has approved two new roundabout projects aimed at improving traffic safety at busy intersections. The first project will be at the intersection of Farm Road 146 and Farm Road 190, with construction set to begin in the fall of 2025 and expected to be completed by the summer of 2026. The second project, at the intersection of Farm Road 171 and Farm Road 182, is scheduled to start in the spring of 2026 and finish by the fall of 2026. These roundabouts are expected to reduce the number of traffic accidents and improve traffic flow in these areas, according to county officials.
