  • The Finance Committee of Ralph Figy, chair; Brent Bean and Rick Sullivan met to review requests for funding from the Community Preservation Committee and mayor in order to make recommendations to the CIty Council at its May 15 meeting.

The Finance Committee in Westfield has voted to recommend several Community Preservation Act (CPA) grants to the City Council, with one item being tabled for further review. The recommended grants include funding for the restoration of the historic Cross Street Cemetery, improvements to the Amelia Park Arena, and the creation of a new playground at the Highland Elementary School.
