Deputies are warning citizens of a fraudulent website claiming to represent a local business in Hart County, Georgia.

A fraudulent website has been discovered that falsely claims to be associated with Lake Hartwell RV, a legitimate business in Georgia. The scam site, which has been reported to Google and the Hart County Sheriff's Office, mimics the real Lake Hartwell RV's website but is not connected to the actual business. The legitimate Lake Hartwell RV, located at 2801 West Main Street in Hartwell, Georgia, has warned customers about the fake site and emphasized that they are not affiliated with it. The Hart County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating the fraudulent website and has advised the public to be cautious and verify the authenticity of websites before engaging in any transactions.
