  • United Airlines unveiled new business class seats, which are expected to enter into service in 2026. Here's what they look like.

United Airlines has unveiled a new version of its Polaris business class seat, set to debut on its Boeing 787-9 and Airbus A350-900 aircraft starting in 2026. The updated Polaris seat features a new design that offers more privacy, increased storage space, and enhanced comfort with a sliding door for added seclusion, a larger 18-inch entertainment screen, and wireless charging capabilities. The seat can convert into a fully flat bed that is 6 feet 6 inches long, and it includes multiple charging options, including USB-C and AC power outlets. Additionally, the new design incorporates feedback from customers and flight attendants to improve the overall travel experience, with amenities like a larger dining table and more intuitive controls for seat adjustments.
