Power Grid Corporation of India announced its Q3 results for the fiscal year 2024, reporting a consolidated net profit of Rs 4,028.35 crore, marking a 10.5% increase from the previous year's Rs 3,645.29 crore. The company also declared a second interim dividend of Rs 4.50 per equity share for the financial year 2024-25, with the record date set for February 7, 2024. This dividend will be paid to shareholders whose names appear in the Register of Members or in the records of the depositories as beneficial owners of the shares as of the record date. Additionally, Power Grid's revenue from operations rose by 2.5% to Rs 11,549.84 crore from Rs 11,262.12 crore in the same quarter of the previous year. The company's board also approved investments in various projects, including a new 765kV D/C transmission line and the augmentation of transformation capacity at existing substations.
