Singapore's GIC appoints Bryan Yeo as group chief investment officer

  • Singapore sovereign wealth fund GIC said on Tuesday that it has appointed Bryan Yeo, currently deputy group chief investment officer, as group CIO, taking over from Jeffrey Jaensubhakij who will retire and be appointed a GIC adviser.

Singapore's sovereign wealth fund GIC has appointed Bryan Yeo as its new group chief investment officer, effective from February 4, 2025. Yeo, who has been with GIC for 17 years, will succeed Jeffrey Jaensubhakij, who is retiring after a 30-year tenure. Yeo's previous roles at GIC include head of the equities team in the public markets group and head of the Americas for public markets. His appointment comes at a time when GIC is focusing on enhancing its investment strategies amidst global economic shifts. Yeo's deep experience in managing diverse asset classes and his leadership in key regions are expected to drive GIC's investment performance forward.
