EasyMed Announces Outstanding Impact of Easy SmartCare on Clinic Management and Absenteeism and Goes Forward With Swiss Wide Roll-Out Plan

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 21, 2012) -EasyMed Services, Inc. (CNSX:EZM)(OTCBB:EMYSF)(MUN:EY6) ("EasyMed" or the "Company"), a leading provider of mobile technology solutions for the healthcare industry, reported today after the successful completion of its Easy SmartCare deployment in IIM clinic (one of the largest radiology clinics in Geneva) outstanding results on absenteeism and clinic management.

As disclosed on March 14th 2012, EasyMed and Medspazio, a market leader providing the management system for radiology clinics in Switzerland, have been collaborating to provide a mobile extension to existing clinic management software installations. In this context, Easy SmartCare product is able to retrieve seamlessly patients' data during the visit booking process without affecting the software in place or modifying in anyway assistants' daily work. Easy SmartCare collects the patient's phone number and identity, as well as the procedure for which the patient has to comply with before the visit. This allows the patient to receive timely reminders in order to accurately prepare the medical exam, remind him of the exact date and time of the visit and enable visit cancelation by text when necessary.

EasyMed's CEO Andrew Ritchie commented: "In the first month after the implementation, we observed a strong decrease of absenteeism from 20 patients monthly to a level near to zero after the completion of the installation. This outstanding result was corroborated by the satisfaction expressed by both patients and the clinic's assistants. The costs savings calculated by summing up the absenteeism suppression and the decrease of administrative tasks for ensuring an appropriate preparation of the patients is estimated at CDN 200K a year. In this context, Easy SmartCare cost is proposed at a small fraction of the figure of the annual cost savings. During the following weeks, a Go to marketing strategy will be fully implemented that will canvas the 80+ hospitals and healthcare providers that are existing clients of EasyMed's partner Medspazio. With the new technology and strong existing rapport with the network this will trigger the dramatic increase in sales and revenue that will finally entrench EasyMed in the Swiss and International markets."
