RHJ International Completes Divestment of Phoenix Resort K.K. to SEGA SAMMY HOLDINGS Inc.
BRUSSELS, BELGIUM--(Marketwire - Mar 26, 2012) - Brussels, March 26, 2012 - RHJ International ("RHJI") has today successfully completed the divestment of its 100% ownership in Phoenix Resort K.K. ("Phoenix Seagaia Resort") to SEGA SAMMY HOLDINGS Inc. ("SEGA SAMMY") announced on February 23, 2012. The total cash consideration for the transaction is JPY 400 million (EUR 3.7 million). In addition, RHJI has also received the reimbursement of the outstanding balance of the revolving credit facility granted to Phoenix Seagaia Resort which amounted to JPY 878 million (EUR 8 million).
This divestment is part of RHJI's strategy to transform itself into a financial services group based on an independent merchant banking model.
