RENO, Nev., Oct. 13, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- United Resource Holdings Group, Inc. (OTCPK:URHG) announced today that it has: (1) submitted a Small Mining Operations Information and Documentation Filing with the State of Nevada; (2) retained JBR Environmental Consultants, Inc. for the preparation of the Mining Reclamation permit application, Water Pollution Control permit application, and Class II Air Quality Operating permit application with the State of Nevada; (3) retained G.I.S. Land Services for the preparation of mining, topographical, and aerial maps; and (4) retained John Shaw for investor relations services.

1. URHG submitted a Small Mining Operations Information and Documentation Filing with the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection (the "NDEP").  This filing was accepted by the NDEP and allows for the proposed disturbance of approximately four and nine-tenths (4.90) acres and the removal of approximately thirty thousand (30,000) short tons of earth during the remainder of the 2011 calendar year at URHG's Dun Glen Mine placer property, located in Township 33N, Range 36E, Sections 15 and 16, in Pershing County, Nevada.  URHG intends to pursue extended placer mining authorization for its Dun Glen Mine placer property for the 2012 calendar year, and has retained JBR Environmental Consultants, Inc. for this purpose.
2. URHG has retained JBR Environmental Consultants, Inc. for the preparation of the Mining Reclamation permit application, Water Pollution Control permit application, and Class II Air Quality Operating permit application with the State of Nevada for URHG's Dun Glen Mine placer property.  JBR Environmental Consultants, Inc. has completed the Mining Reclamation permit application for URHG's Dun Glen Mine placer property, and this application has been submitted to the NDEP for review.
3. URHG has retained G.I.S. Land Services for the preparation of mining and topographical maps for URHG's Dun Glen Mine placer property.  G.I.S. Land Services has prepared mining, topographical, and aerial maps with geological information regarding historical drill holes, trenching, and mine locations for URHG's Dun Glen Mine placer property.
4. URHG has retained John Shaw for investor relations services.  Mr. Shaw has more than twenty-five (25) years of experience as a corporate communications professional, journalist, and securities industry professional.  Mr. Shaw has focused on the precious metals mining sector since 2003.  Prior to becoming a management consultant in 1992, Mr. Shaw was a stockbroker with E.F. Hutton, an award-winning journalist at a Gannett newspaper, an on-air reporter/anchor for a CBS Television News affiliate, and a reporter for The San Diego Business Journal.  He previously served as a Captain and Communications Officer in the United States Marine Corps.  Mr. Shaw holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Arizona and a Master's Degree in Management from Webster University.
