Grand Opening Festivities Set for Friday, August 19
PLANO, Texas, Aug. 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- ViewPoint Bank is opening a new full-service location in Flower Mound at 1201 Flower Mound Road. The new location, opening Monday, August 15, 2011, features four drive-thru lanes and a drive-up ATM.
"We are very pleased to bring a full-service bank to Flower Mound residents," said ViewPoint Bank President and CEO Gary Base. "It's a wonderful area, and now our existing consumer and business customers in the city can enjoy the benefits and conveniences of a ViewPoint Bank closer to home."
The bank president of the new location is long-time Flower Mound area resident Isabel Ramos, a Dallas native who has 20 years of local banking experience. Active in many community organizations, Ramos is a board member of the following groups: The Nelson Children's Center-Lutheran Social Services of the South; Day Stay for Adults; Denton Hispanic Chamber of Commerce; and the Denton Hispanic Women Network of Texas.
The Flower Mound Chamber of Commerce and local officials will participate in an official ribbon cutting at the new bank on Thursday, August 18.
The community is invited to the bank's family-friendly grand opening festivities on Friday, August 19 from 9 a.m. to noon. Radio Disney's Rockin' Road Show will be broadcasting live from the event, giving away prizes, including a family 4-pack of tickets to the Selena Gomez concert August 31 in Dallas.
The bank will also hold a drawing for one $2,500 5-year Kids Club certificate of deposit with a 10% annual percentage yield. The contest runs through September 17, 2011, only at the Flower Mound location. Visit the Flower Mound bank for more details.
The Flower Mound location is the first of two ViewPoint Bank offices to open this month. ViewPoint Bank–North Carrollton will open August 22.
