MONTREAL, Aug. 5, 2011 /CNW Telbec/ - Bitumen Capital Inc. (TSXV: BTM.H) (the "Company") is pleased to announce the completion of its 2011 Annual General Meeting ("AGM"). Shareholders unanimously appointed Mr. Nikolas Perrault to its Board of Directors and also re-appointed Messrs. Richard T. Groome, Michael Pesner and Essam Zaghloul. All of the proposed resolutions were unanimously passed at the AGM.

Mr. Nikolas Perrault is a Chartered Financial Analyst who has spent 15 years working as an investment executive with some of Canada's largest institutions. Mr. Perrault is President, CEO and a director Colt Resources Inc. and a director of Calvalley Petroleum Inc. He is a member of the Advisory Board of Quantitative Alpha Trading Inc. Mr. Perrault is President of Twilight Capital Inc., a registered exempt market dealer in Ontario. Mr. Perrault holds a Bachelor of Commerce and obtained his Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1997.

The Company is also pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Richard T. Groome as President, CEO, CFO, Chairman and Secretary-Treasurer of the Company.
