(NYSE: EVR) announced today that Philip Kassin has joined the firma�s Advisory business as a Senior Managing Director effective immediately. Mr. Kassin, who is based in New York, will focus on advising companies in the Chemicals and Energy sectors.

Mr. Kassin has been an active advisor and investor in these sectors for nearly 30 years. Most recently he was Executive Vice President, Head of M&A and Financing for Access Industries, a privately held industrial holding company focused on oil, gas, chemicals, metals, real estate and media/telecom. At Access Industries, he originated, directed and managed over $30 billion in acquisitions.
