Glimcher Realty Trust Announces Pricing of Public Offering of Common Shares

COLUMBUS, Ohio--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Glimcher Realty Trust (NYSE: GRT) announced today the pricing of its public offering of 14,000,000 common shares at a price of $6.25 per share. Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC acted as the joint bookrunning managers for the offering, KeyBanc Capital Markets Inc. acted as joint-lead manager for the offering, and Commerz Markets LLC, The Huntington Investment Company, Piper Jaffray & Co., PNC Capital Markets LLC and RBS Securities Inc. acted as co-managers for the offering. The Company has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase 2,100,000 additional common shares.

The Company intends to use the net proceeds to reduce the outstanding principal amount under its corporate credit facility, which will provide the Company with additional capacity to borrow funds in the future for joint venture opportunities and property acquisitions, as well as maintenance, renovation and expansion of existing properties. The Company continues to evaluate joint venture opportunities and property acquisitions in the ordinary course of business.
