NEWTON, Mass.--([ BUSINESS WIRE ])--Hospitality Properties Trust (NYSE: HPT) today announced that it will host a conference call in conjunction with the announcement of its second quarter 2010 financial results.

HPT plans to issue a press release containing its second quarter results before the NYSE opens on Monday, August 9, 2010. Later that afternoon, at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time, John Murray, President and Chief Operating Officer, and Mark Kleifges, Chief Financial Officer, will host a conference call to discuss the second quarter results. Following the companya™s remarks, there will be a short question and answer period.

No pass code is necessary to access the call from either number. Participants should dial in about 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start of the call.
