China Direct Industries to Host the Gateway to China Business Roundtable Conference on June 28th and 29th, 2010

DEERFIELD BEACH, FL--(Marketwire - June 9, 2010) - China Direct Industries, Inc. ("China Direct Industries") (NASDAQ: [ CDII ]), a U.S. owned holding company operating in China in two core business segments, pure magnesium production and distribution of basic materials, announced today it will be hosting the Gateway to China Business Roundtable Conference, an event designed to bring together a Chinese delegation, key international organizations and international business leaders to identify opportunities for inbound and outbound investments, partnerships, joint ventures and business opportunities between China, North America, and South America.

One of the main conference sponsors of the event is the China International Council for Promotion of Multi-National Corporations (CICPMC), a private organization supervised by the Ministry of Commerce in China. This organization is instrumental in helping companies raise capital, navigate through cumbersome government bureaucracy as well as facilitating dialogue with companies seeking to trade and invest in China. In addition, a number of Chinese business leaders will also be in attendance. The sponsorship of the CICPMC along with the attendance of these influential delegates from China is designed to help open new doors to business opportunities in China. Additional sponsors include the West Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce and the Central Florida Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce.

The conference will focus on commodity related opportunities including coal, metal ore, scrap metal, steel, and chemical derivatives. A cross section of business leaders, investment bankers, fund managers, and government officials from the U.S., China, Mexico, Chile, Columbia, Brazil and Canada will attend the conference. In addition to the CICPMC officials from China, Dennis Grady, CEO of the Palm Beaches Chamber of Commerce and Ronald Ambar, President of the Central Florida Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce, will also be in attendance. Other prominent government officials are expected to attend and will be announced as their plans are finalized.

The two day event invitation only event will begin at 10:00AM on June 28, 2010 at the Boca Raton Resort and Club in Boca Raton, Florida. On the following day separate one-on-one meetings will take place at the offices of China Direct Industries to further business discussions between interested parties
