Mike The Pike Productions Delivers MMA Event in Profitable First Year
FORT WAYNE, IN--(Marketwire - June 9, 2010) - (
MTP CEO/President Mark B. Newbauer comments, "The entire night was an overall testament to our team's abilities and skill set. We gained a new appreciation for top tier MMA events in which we're dealing with literally dozens of people on the staff and entertainment side of things. It was definitely new territory well managed, with 20 or so fighters in house, their managers, entourages and esteemed members of our event's guests of honor; Not For Sale Campaign ([ www.NotForSaleCampaign.org ]) and trafficking survivor, Marti MacGibbon. Mark Cuban's HDNET was in-house and will most likely feature excerpts of the event on their channel, which produces more original HD sports, music, news, and entertainment than any other domestic network."
Fort Wayne native and UFC superstar Jon Fitch called the event, "The best MMA event I've ever seen in Indiana." Fitch was among the celebrity attendees and a major draw for the event and "was altogether accommodating, gracious and great to work with," according to Newbauer. "One of the best parts about the event is that we achieved exactly what we set out to do, and that's raise awareness for the plight of Human Trafficking."
