OAKDALE, CA--(Marketwire - June 4, 2010) - Oak Valley Community Bank, a subsidiary of Oak Valley Bancorp (NASDAQ: [ OVLY ]), announced today that it has received the 2010 award for "Outstanding Community Support" from Habitat for Humanity, Stanislaus County. The award, which was presented on May 20, 2010 at the Annual Habitat for Humanity Awards Dinner, is in recognition of the Bank's efforts to make a significant contribution to Habitat for Humanity and the cause of affordable housing.

Bank employees distinguished themselves by working to provide Habitat for Humanity, Stanislaus County with a line of credit to fund "Hope Village" and other home building projects, writing grants, and administering the WISH ($150,000) and the Affordable Housing Programs ($300,000). Oak Valley has provided strategic and financial guidance as well as volunteer construction hours.
